This is the vision of Bethel.
Bethel was founded in the Westphalian city Bielefeld in 1867 as a small facility for epileptic people. Today, Bethel is involved in caring for disabled people, epileptic people, people suffering from mental illness and homeless people as well as old people, young people and patients in hospitals in six Federal states. Each day about 14.000 employees care for around 20.000 people.
Since a long time volunteers are an enrichment to the activities of Bethel. They contribute in letting the vision of achieving community come true.
We are the contact point for placement, support and consultancy of the volunteers as well as we organise and coordinate the voluntary service for the v. Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen Bethel.
The agency for voluntary services
The Betheljahr is organised by the agency for voluntary services by order of the v. Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen Bethel. Here you can find the consultants as well as the clerical assistants.
If you visit us, you will find out that the agency for voluntary services is not only involved with the Betheljahr but also with volunteering and alternate civilian service.
